RIGID MACHINE STRUCTURE
Precision hardened and ground slideways ensure accuracy to within 5 microns during high speed or heavy cutting operations.
HIGH SPEED, HIGH PRECISION SPINDLE
The spindle is supported by three sets of class P4 high precision angular contact ball bearings to maintain rigidity and minimal thermal deformation.
HIGH PRECISION SERVO TURRET
The servo turret is driven by a high speed servomotor through a high precision gear transmission to perform fast accurate tool changes within 0.2 seconds.
PRECISION I.D. AND O.D. TOOL HOLDER
The rigid O.D. tool holders thoroughly eliminate tool vibration problems, and the I.D. tool holders are bored on the machine so that run-out to the spindle center is controlled within 5 microns.
