RIGID MACHINE STRUCTURE
Using 3D Finite Element Analysis to achieve superior rigidity of structure, the one-piece 45 degree slant bed is manufactured from high quality Meehanite cast iron,tempered and stress relieved. The extra wide box ways are precision hardened and ground, and then protected with Turate-B.
to provide outstanding wear resistance and make the machine ideal for heavy cutting.
HYDRAULIC 3-JAW CHUCK
The 3-jaw hydraulic chuck is standard equipment controlled by foot pedal or 'M' function for convenience and efficincy.
HYDRAULIC TAILSTOCK
The tailstock quill movement is actuated by panel switch or 'M' function, and the tailstock body movement can also be controlled 'M' function as an optional accessory.
DRUM TYPE TURRET
The turret has a hydraulic indexing motor and high precision clutch for fast accurate and trouble-free positioning.
HIGH PRECISION SPINDLE
High precision roller bearing and angular contact ball bearings are mounted in a massive headstock to support the spindle and ensure superior axial and radial loading capabilities during heavy cutting. Together with the 2-Stage ZF Gearbox incredible cutting torque and removal rates are achieved.
MANUAL/AUTOMATIC TOOL SETTER (OPTIONAL)
A manual or automatic tool setter can be provided for convenient tool setting, wear compensation and breakage detection.
