These XL lathes have significant weight and rigidity values due to their solid ribbed castings, extra wide ''Vee and flat'' bed ways that provide a large bearing surface, the Headstock which is built using the highest quality gears/bearings and the heavy Tailstock all contribute towards making the XYZ XL lathes the most solid and reliable large scale turning platforms available in the UK today.
The XL 860 & XL 1100 have a solid one piece 533 mm wide bed and base.The XL 1200 and XL 1500 are one piece with a massive 692 mm bed width, and the XL 2200 has a 1270mm bed width.
Warranty 12 months parts and labour with up to 7 years extended warranty available.
