Doosan Mecatec manufactures and sells globally recognized machine tools, steel bridges and CPE (Chemical Process Equipment), which holds the world's top market share in its sector.

The CPE business includes initiatives to produce and supply high-precision pressure vessels, heat exchangers, towers and reactors for fine chemical, petrochemical and nuclear plants.

The quality of these products is internationally recognized, and they are all certified with the ASME STAMP (A, PP, U, U2, and S) and ISO 9001.

Mecatec's machine tools include CNC lathes, and CNC milling and machining centers all produced under a system of strict quality control, continued technology development and process innovation.

The CE and EMC certificates obtained by the company verity the quality of these machineries in both domestic and overseas markets, so that Mecatec's products are currently being exported all over the world through more than 50 dealers stationed in the U.S., Europe and Asia.

Mecatec's technical competence was demonstrated through its manufacture and export of box girders for expressways and railroads in 1997, while the company's expertise in steel bridge assembly was widely recognized after the successful completion of the Gwangan Bridge(suspension bridge) in Busan and the Yeonryuk Bridge(double-tiered truss bridge with railway) that links to Incheon International Airport.
