Rottler Werkzeugmaschinen was founded in 1970 by Horst Rottler in Siegen-Gosenbach.
At the beginning, the machines were designed on our own premises and manufactured at partner companies.
In 1985 the subsidiary A.M.A. Anlagen Maschinenbau Automation GmbH was founded with its registered office in Mudersbach-Birken. This company is completely in the possession of Rottler Maschinenbau GmbH. Since that time a production building with a size of 2,500 m² and a 20 t crane as well as an office building of 220 m² are available and the construction, electrical engineering and assembly of the machines are carried out from one source at one location.
In 1989 Ralph Rottler joined the company in second generation.
1990 founding branch office in Chemnitz.
Another assembly hall of 1,200 m² with a 30 t crane and a 10 t crane was bought in 2001. In accordance with the growing tasks the number of staff was increased continuously. Presently the Rottler group has about 50 employees in the divisions construction, electrical engineering and assembly. Furthermore there are seven apprentices in the sectors design "dual studies", electronics engineer for energy plants and machine fitter.
