New and Used Milling Machines

September 3, 2008

Findamachine has released it’s new and used milling machines search engine to complement it’s world renowned turning machines search engine.

We have been very busy at Findamachine adding over 3900 milling machine specifications from small manual millers to heavy duty CNC horizontal borers.

Our milling machines  search engine has been finding more and more machines for sale from all over the world and is now searching over 1300 stocklists daily.  Today it found 2681 machines available for sale and is growing at an amazing rate that should surpas our turning machines search engine very soon.

It’s like going to google and being able to say for example ” show me all the machining centers currently for sale that have this capacity and this control “.  Using a normal search engine you just can’t do this and using some of the large broker sites alot of the machines have been sold and not deleted.

We have been receiving amazing feedback from users using our search engines for example :

This site is genius! Well done.  Jeffrey Gough, Southampton University, United Kingdom

it is very helpful to the person like me who just started the business and looking forward to import the machinery to mumbai, morlan engineering works, India

great site for finding machine thanks, mp engineering Ltd, United Kingdom

This is the first time I have used this site and I have to say I like the concept. Thanks, Currie Engineering, United Kingdom

The findamachine website is very usefull for organizations like ours as we are contnuously in search of machine tools, further all the necessary information is available world wide at a press of a button. It is like the globe is on our palm, Solex Engineering (pvt) Ltd, Sri Lanka

For companies who want more exposure and an enhanced presence on Findamachine.  We offer a Premium Membership where your company and machines will stand out from the crowd with as much multimedia like photos, documents, brochure and videos as you like.  This is all done online through our machinery management system.

If you are interested in Premium Membership, please see here.

Free search engine finds 10,000 lathes for users in first month

July 3, 2008

Machine tool dealers Macrotec’s new Findamachine site has connected over 10,000 potential buyers with grateful dealers since launching a new service in May. The newly updated site at www.findamachine.com offers users the opportunity to search for new or used lathes currently listed on over 1000 stock lists on the internet. The simple search system allows users to search on any field from a database of over 2500 new and used lathes and click directly through to the seller.

“We opened up the service free to anyone without requiring registration and suddenly the flood gates opened “ said Richard Moss, Chief Developer of Findamachine.com. “It’s the only site that is updated daily automatically, so users know it’s up to date.”

Macrotec Machine Tools Ltd have been developing their Findamachine site for some years now and have added 4500 lathe specifications to an extensive machine tool directory to provide a valuable and user friendly tool for engineers all over the world. The list of lathes for sale is updated daily and includes machine tool dealers and auctioneers sites.

“We’ve cut out the middleman and allow potential buyers to click straight through to seller’s websites. We take no part in the sales process and charge no commission for sales. We are financing the site from advertising revenues,” says Stuart Moss Managing director of Findamachine. “From the feedback we are getting it’s definitely the way forward for the market. Machine tool buyers love Findamachine because it saves them so much time trawling the dealers’ sites on the internet. It was the time it took us searching the web for a lathe with a specific dimension for one of our customers that gave us the idea for the Findamachine project 3 years ago. Because we are engineers ourselves we’ve worked hard to make the search as simple and comprehensive as possible and we are continually building our database of specifications and machine tool dealers.”
